Ducati reaches Finals at National Champs

Sean's impeccable Ducati Sport Classic 1000S has qualified for the 2022 National Championships at KICKBACK next April.


2007 DUCATI SPORT CLASSIC 1000S - CUSTOM 

KEY FACTS 

     A stylish custom-built café racer, based on the lauded Ducati Sport Classic 1000S and presented in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition.

     It is powered by a 992cc V-twin engine, coupled to a six-speed transmission.

     The bike is renowned in the Ducati Owners Clubs, used for many Ducati events, Ducati Race Events and has been on show at three successive World Ducati Week meets in Misano.

     Nicknamed ‘Bella’, it was modified and customised shortly after purchase with assistance from Ducati specialist Louigi Moto and D.W. Automotive, and is now presented with a raft of cafe racer-style components.

     It has then undergone a frame-up refurbishment at Desmo London, comprising a full engine rebuild, service, aqua blast and respray to present her in the best running and condition for any new owner .

 EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES 

     Finished in vibrant candy’ dark blue metal flake finish with metallic gold stripes, Ducati logos and two silver-leaf ‘76’ number boards, this Ducati’s exterior now features Paul Smart lower side fairings, new rearsets, a custom LED headlight, retro bar-end mirrors and lightweight gold Marchesini five-spoke wheels.

     The 992cc V-twin engine has been enhanced with the addition of velocity stacks and K&N pod filters, and is also equipped with a Ducati sports ECU a full Keihin Systems stainless steel exhaust hung with custom titanium hangers.

     The front Marzocchi forks were fitted with internal adjusters to allow preload and rebound adjustment, along with progressive springs and heavier oil. The rear shocks also feature upgraded internals.

     The front brake callipers have been upgraded to gold Brembo four-pot items.

     The stock double seat was replaced with an aftermarket ‘60s replica cafe racer-style unit from Diopa, while the black grips have been replaced with golden tan retro items.

Seeley Suzukis These machines when tested/raced were ridden by Stan Woods, Barry Sheene, Pat Mahoney, and Dave Crockford These wonderful TR500s will be on full display at The Prescott Bike Festival incorporating KICKBACK, this June. Tony joins Judging Panel...

WORLD EXCLUSIVE: 007 Norton motorbike will be on display at KICKBACK

Pete Pearson joins illustrious Judging Panel...

We are delighted to announce that multi-award winning custom bike builder Pete Pearson has joined our illustrious Judging Panel for the forthcoming Devitt KICKBACK National Championships. Pete and Lisa run Rocket Bobs Cycle Works out of Swindon and will also be bringing along two of their masterpieces (pictured below) to display. Pete joins the likes of Paul Milbourn, Steve Parrish, Tony Taysom, Allen Millyard, Blue Miller, Ben Hall, Stu Garland, James Rogers and Mick McCarthy on the Judging Panel for the National Championship Finals which take place at Devitt KICKBACK to be staged at the Prescott Bike Festival on June 15th - 16th. More masterpieces set for KICKBACK

 At time of writing we have over 140 custom bikes ready for the display at KICKBACK next month. Many are to be unveiled for the very first time. Tickets are available from ticketsource The show opens at 11am on Saturday 2nd April at the Three Counties Showground in Worcs and will close around 6pm. On Sunday 3rd it will open again at 10am until around 4pm.  The judging for the 2022 National Championships takes place on the Saturday with the Awards Ceremony on Sunday at 3pm. The spectacular Two Brothers Stunt Team will be performing three times throughout each day. There's a canteen serving cooked breakfasts and lunch and there's a licensed bar and coffee / tea and snacks to keep you going...
